I've realized over time that most people, myself included, know what to do...it's just that we don't want to get started, or we are looking for that magic, easy fix.  Staging, like every other job worth doing, has very little to do with magic and a whole lot to do with elbow grease.  I find that when I do a Staging Consultation or a Client Prioritized Task List, most of the items on the list are pretty generic: pack away the clutter, put away the personal, thin out closets, clean to a shine, paint and repair....my point:  Just Do it, get to it, one step at a time.
